The Rope Pull-Downs strengthens every major muscle connected to the shoulder blades, the spine, and the top of the pelvis. That's a lot of muscles! In addition, just as with most of the Strength-Stretching exercises, the idea is to move all of the joints into a full range of motion, increasing flexibility while at the same time increasing strength and endurance.
